About Us

The Alumni Relations Office is situated in the Hunter Building at the Kelburn campus of Victoria University of Wellington.

The function of the Alumni Relations Office is to provide Victoria University Graduates with an avenue in which they can keep in contact with Victoria and other past graduates of the University; keeping graduates aware of the current activities going on at the University, be it upcoming events, lectures or through news from the University; creating opportunities for graduates to keep in touch.

The Alumni Relations Office also administers the Alumni and Friends Database. This database contains all past alumni to Victoria, holding over 60,000 records. This is used for mailings for upcoming events and other publications such as Victorious and our e-newsletter.  

There are three staff members:

Jill Rodgers, Alumni Relations Manager
Jill has arrived in Wellington from Hamilton, having been a Waikato girl for most of her life. Prior to coming to Victoria in early 2010 she held the position of Alumni Manager at Waikato University for nine years.

"There is such a lot of potential here at Victoria to engage our alumni. So many are leading successful careers and influential lives in both New Zealand and internationally and Victoria is very proud of them. My job is to keep our wonderful alumni connected by offering them great reasons to stay in touch."
