Our alumni are an integral part of our large 'community of scholars' who have been associated with Victoria University.

Alumni are those who have graduated with a degree, diploma or certificate from the University, and those on whom the University has conferred honorary degrees.

As a staff member, former staff member, or if you attended Victoria but did not graduate, you are welcome to join our Alumni community.

Alumni are entitled to the following benefits:

• Access to alumni directories and special interest groups
• Invitations to special alumni events and reunions
• Continued use of the Vic Careers service
• Access to the Victoria University library.

Te Korako Māori Alumni Travel Award

The Te Korako Award is intended to provide financial support to assist a recent Māori graduate who has completed a Masters or PhD thesis to present their research findings at an appropriate local or international conference. This award recognises the value Victoria University places on both Māori post-graduate research and a continuing relationship with its Māori alumni. We host alumni events throughout New Zealand and around the world and like to encourage as many of our alumni to attend as possible.

If your Victoria friends don't receive our e-newseltter or our Alumni magazine 'Victorious', chances are that we have lost touch with them and they won't receive an invitation to our events.
