Contract Courses and In-house Educational Programmes
Most of the professional development courses run by Continuing Education
are available on contract. These can be taught on University premises or
in-house
if appropriate. Courses can be run anywhere in New Zealand. They can be designed
specifically to meet your organisational requirements or delivered 'as advertised'
but at your convenience. To discuss your requirements, please contact Ann
Devoy, (04) 463 6559.
Conference Management and Support
Continuing Education are experienced conference managers. We manage and
support international and national events, symposiums and conferences.
We provide the logistical and administrative support necessary to ensure
a well organised and enjoyable event for all participants. For more
information, please contact Nicki van Asch,
(04) 463 6558.
Organisational Educational Design
Where an organisation has a range of training and educational needs in a particular
field, such as information design or web development, Continuing Education
can design a series of programmes at various levels and at times to suit organisations
both large and small. These programmes can be assessed against internal HR
criteria and involve a combination of contact and online learning techniques.
To discuss your requirements, please contact Ann
Devoy, (04) 463 6559.
On-line Learning Development
Organisations that need to ensure staff have basic core skills can use Continuing
Education's skills in designing online materials to disseminate information quickly
and cost-effectively. Staff induction training online can prove very effective.
Contact Ann
Devoy for more information.
