Wairarapa - Kaiwhata Bike Trip

January 2000
In 1988 we took Martin and Selina for their first bike tour, on the backs of our bikes. Dieter and Brian helped carry the loads. We started in Greytown, cycled through Te Wharau and camped in the Kaiwhata valley on the Wairarapa coast. Then we returned over forestry roads to Stronvar and back to Greytown.

At the Wellington Anniversary long weekend, 2000, we repeated the trip.
