Survey for Volunteers in New Zealand Dear Volunteer You have been invited to participate in a survey conducted by Victoria University of Wellington in collaboration with Volunteering New Zealand (VNZ). The main purpose of this survey is to get information on the financial cost of volunteering for both volunteers and their organisations. The information will help to identify the personal costs of volunteering and how these costs might prevent more people from volunteering. It will also assist in consideration of possible changes to tax law as to reimbursement of volunteers' expenses. Your response is confidential and anonymous. A summary of the survey results and the final submission will be available on the VNZ website from late November 2007.
